Choosing your football goal

Choosing your football goal

Choosing a football goal is not always easy.

There are a few things you need to take into consideration: fixed-position or portable, folding or inflatable, and the playing surface, to name but a few factors.

We talk you though it all.

When it comes to buying a football goal, you might be thinking of going for a fixed-position goal for your garden or a portable goal so you can play anywhere.

Check out our advice below and make your decision.

A fixed-position goal for playing on grass

If you're interested in buying a fixed-position goal that's shock- and weather-resistant, then look no further than our SG 100 range of metal goals.

If you’re looking for something even more hard-wearing and stable, check out our SG 500 range of steel and aluminium goals. They have real top corners for a genuine match experience. The non-slip pads ensure they stay stable.

No screws or tools are needed to assemble these fixed-position goals.

They come in three sizes: size S for playing without a goalkeeper; size M for young children; and size L, which is the same size as a handball goal.

The Kage goal

A movable goal for playing on different surfaces (grass, tarmac, sand, etc)

If you’re looking for a goal that’s easy to transport for use on all types of pitches, then go for a movable goal. Inflatable or pop-up, they’re very easy to assemble and take down, and they’re compact and easy to carry too. Our new inflatable goals have real top corners and posts for an authentic game-play experience.
